Am 12. Mai 2023 stellte sich das Ungarisch-Österreichische Bündnis für Frieden und Neutralität im Freien Wort in Wien vor. Wir waren am 24. Februar, am Jahrestag der Eskalation des Krieges, der auf den Putsch und Bürgerkrieg 2014 zurückgeht, mit einer gemeinsamen Erklärung an die Öffentlichkeit getreten. Endre Simó war aus Budapest angereist um seine Vorstellungen zu präsentieren, um unser Bündnis und Milieu kennenzulernen und um Möglichkeiten der Zusammenarbeit auszuloten.
Er repräsentiert gleichzeitig das Ungarische Friedensforum (Magyar Békekör) sowie das Forum der Friedensbegebung (Fórum a Békéért), das eine Dachorganisation darstellt.

Die Quintessenz der Positionierung unserer ungarischen Freundinnen und Freunde: Die Neutralität Ungarns und der mitteleuropäischen Staaten ist DER Beitrag für den Frieden zwischen Ost und West, den wir leisten können. Hauptursache des gegenwärtigen Kriegs ist der umfassende Vormarsch der Nato und des Westens gegen Russland. Die Forderung Russlands an den Westen, diese strukturelle Aggression einzustellen und sich zurückzuziehen, ist nicht nur legitim, sondern die einzig mögliche Basis eines dauerhaften und gerechten Friedens für die Ukraine und für Europa. Ungarn und seine Nachbarn können mit einer neutralen Haltung nicht nur ihre eigene Sicherheit gewährleisten, sondern eben einen enormen Beitrag zum Frieden zwischen Ost und West leisten. Das gilt insbesondere für Ungarn, Österreich, die Slowakei und Tschechien, wo jeweils Mehrheiten der Bevölkerung für die Neutralität eintreten. Dafür muss die unipolare Weltordnung beendet werden zugunsten von Selbstbestimmung und Kooperation – ein Prozess, der bereits im Gange ist und nicht aufgehalten, sondern gestaltet werden kann.
Die gegenwärtige ungarische Regierung ist in vielerlei Hinsicht schlecht, insbesondere auch was die Sozialpolitik betrifft. Doch hinsichtlich des Einsatzes für den Frieden, ist sie das Beste, was es in Europa gibt und muss in diesem Aspekt unterstützt und angetrieben werden.
Wir mögen über nur bescheidene Kräfte verfügen. Doch wir machen das was wir können. Zudem sind historische Umbrüche im Gange hin zu einer multipolaren Welt, wo unsere Gesellschaften unseren Beitrag werden brauchen können.
Im Namen des Sozialen Bündnisses für Frieden und Neutralität kündigte Willi Langthaler an, sich um Kontakte auch nach Tschechien und in die Slowakei zu bemühen, um das Bündnis zu erweitern und gemeinsame Aktivitäten zu konzipieren. Andere Komponenten des Komitees schlugen vor, dies auch auf die Balkanstaaten wie Serbien (Thomas Oysmüller, Freie Linke) und/oder die Schweiz (Stefan Krizmanich, Aufbruch Österreich) auszuweiten.
Unmittelbar nächster Schritt ist ein Gegenbesuch in Budapest mit öffentlicher Veranstaltung am 2.6.2023.

Endre Simó's presentation at the Austrian-Hungarian meeting in Vienna

Dear Austrian Partners in the common fight.
First of all, I would like to thank Wilhelm Langthaler for his invitation and your generous hospitality. I welcome you on behalf of the Hungarian Community for Peace Association and the Hungarian Forum for Peace movement.
We Hungarians have a historical dream: a Hungary outside the blocs, independent and free from foreign interference.
I came to Vienna to see what the Hungarian Forum for Peace and your Social Coalition for Peace and Neutrality can do in the spirit of our February 24 cooperation declaration.
Our joint declaration states that the Forum for Peace and your Social Coalition for Peace and Neutrality have joined forces to defend Austria's neutrality and to achieve Hungary's neutrality. We declared it a common goal to prevent our countries from drifting into war and to preserve the peace of our peoples.
How can we fulfill our commitment?
Our work on national soil must be connected with each other. For our part, we are thinking of the following areas:
- Mutual information about our fight. (I don't mean an internal exchange of information, but rather to make our positions public so that people can see what the mainstream media keeps from them.) We have to express the will of the vast majority of people for peace, and show them that not only we are interested in neutrality, but also others, and why.
- Civil diplomacy, which we carry out in Hungary. We have good relations with various embassies in Budapest, including the Russian one and the Apostolic Nunciature of the Holy See. (Based on our established relationship, we have reason to assume that we played a role in the fact that Pope Francis revised his position condemning Russia and is beginning to see clearly that the main obstacle to peace is American imperial policy, which denies Russia's right to security. During the last visit of Pope Francis to Hungary, there was complete agreement on this issue with Prime Minister Viktor Orbán.)
- We brought together representatives of historical churches in Hungary for a forum which purpose was peaceful coexistence and cooperation between believers of different religions and non-believers.
- Together with you, we would like to conduct civil diplomacy for the neutrality of Austria and Hungary in Budapest and Vienna! To put pressure on our governments through Austria's ambassador in Budapest and Hungary's ambassador in Vienna.
- We want to popularize your neutrality aspirations in Hungary. The participation of President Wilhelm Langthaler at our Forum meeting in Budapest on June 2 serves this purpose.
- We are ready to help our Austrian partners with our participation in peace demonstrations and conferences.
- Based on the security demands of the Russians on December 15, 2021, and the goals of the special military operation in Ukraine, namely de-Nazification, demilitarization and neutralization, I conclude that the demand for neutrality will grow in Europe, primarily in Eastern and Central Europe. I believe that together with you, we can strengthen this process by broadening our cooperation for neutrality with similar movements in other countries.
Dear Fellow Warriors!
According to our international assessment of the situation, the conflict in Ukraine will end when Kiev lays down its arms and accepts Ukraine's demilitarization and neutrality. NATO and its leading power are doing everything to prevent this. They know that if they do not win in Ukraine, NATO itself will suffer defeat, along with its leading power, the United States.
The West is aware that not only its hegemony over the world would be threatened by such a turn, but its social-power system would also be shaken. He wants to win this war against Russia. He set as his goal the strategic defeat of Russia. Our opinion is that this is a vain hope. Russia will make its goals come true and will not allow once again a national defense war to be fought on its territory after World War II. when he lost 20 million people. The Hungarian Community for Peace pays tribute to the Soviet heroes who freed the world from Nazi-fascism and enabled the free development of Europe. We believe that Russia did not commit aggression against Ukraine, but rather preceded NATO's aggression against Russia.
For a long time, Russia believed that the cooperative order could be created peacefully, until it realized that the empire would not yield on its own, would not give up its essence, its expansion, and the subjugation of others. After all, this is where his power comes from. In fact, the empire even considered absorbing Russia. Moscow had to realize that if it continued to tolerate this, it would risk not only its goals of world redemption, but also Russia’s existence. The massacre of the Kiev regime in the Donbass, the massacre of 13,000 Russians between 2014-2022 amid the complicit silence of the West, the American biological weapons laboratories operated in Ukraine, the military march of NATO along the Russian borders, the unceasing military provocations and harassment, Zelensky’s plan for Russia about a targeted preliminary blow, Ukraine’s withdrawal from the Budapest memorandum declaring nuclear weapons exemption all indicated that if the Russians are not careful, they may be forced into another war of national defense against the neo-Nazis.
We do not support war, but the satisfaction of Russia's legitimate security demands. We see the key to a peaceful solution in NATO recognizing the legitimacy of Russian demands and sitting down to seriously discuss mutual security. As long as NATO does not do this, the security of the West will not be guaranteed by Russia either. Security is one and indivisible. No one can enforce their own security at the expense of other countries. This is the starting point for the development of a new European security and cooperation system. Until we get here, the guns will sound. We have no doubt that Russia will win this war.
Ukraine is also a catalyst for a worldwide transformation, the aim of which is to replace the unipolar American imperial world order with a multipolar world order, to replace confrontation with an international system of peaceful cooperation based on equal rights and mutual interests.
Huge changes are taking place in the world. New world poles are born. The BRICS, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and the Eurasian Economic Union with new banks belonging to them, settlement mechanisms in national currency.
Countries that until now belonged to the American sphere of interest are applying for admission. Like Argentina, United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Turkey. The world is getting rid of the omnipotence of the dollar.
While the West is trying to stop the international transformation with a multitude of sanctions, intense cooperation is unfolding in the East with the Chinese-Russian-Indian epicenter. The faster Asian countries develop their energy supply, transport infrastructure, and financial relations, the faster the East-West reconciliation, which is the main goal of the Russian special military operation in Ukraine, will be realized.
The great majority of humanity wants to get rid of American rule and to develop freely. He looks for partners who respect his independent, free development interests and treat him as an equal.
We must know that nothing has a greater attraction for peoples and individuals than development in freedom. The possibility of social advancement and individual emancipation! Whoever is able to create the material and moral conditions for this will be followed by those who until now lived in the conviction that there is nothing better than the Western social model. But looking to the future, we must also know that East and West must share their values, we must be open to accepting each other's values, because this is how humanity can find a common denominator.
We consider it logical that the Western great powers, accustomed to colonialism and neo-colonialism, which owe their prosperity to the subjugation of others, do everything to prevent the birth of such a new world.
I am convinced that Hungary should live in good relations with both the East and the West. In order for the dream to come true, I consider it essential that military force serves to create an order of peaceful cooperation.
We think it is our job as civil society and progressive forces to promote the creation of this new world order here at home and with cooperation on an international scale.
Of course, I came to Vienna not only to tell you this, but also to listen to what you propose, my dear friends.

Tisztelt osztrák Harcostársaink!
Mindenekelőtt szeretném megköszönni Wilhelm Langthaler meghívását és az önök nagylelkű vendéglátását. Köszöntöm önöket a Magyar Békekör Egyesület és a Magyar Forum a Békéért mozgalom nevében.
Nekünk magyaroknak van egy történelmi álmunk: a tömbökön kívüli, független, idegen beavatkozástól mentes Magyarország.
Azért jöttem Bécsbe, hogy lássuk, mit tehet a magyar Fórum a Békéért és az önök Társadalmi Koalíció a Békéért és a Semlegességért február 24-i együttműködési nyilatkozatunk szellemében.
Közös nyilatkozatunkban az áll, hogy a Fórum a Békéért és az önök Társadalmi Koalíciója a Békéért és a Semlegességért összefogott Ausztria semlegességének megvédéséért és Magyarország semlegességének eléréséért. Közös céllá nyilvánítottuk, hogy megakadályozzuk országaink háborúba sodrását és megőrizzük népeink békéjét.
Hogyan tehetünk eleget vállalásunknak?
Nemzeti talajon kifejtett munkánkat össze kell kapcsolni egymással. A magunk részéről a következő területekre gondolunk:
- A kölcsönös tájékoztatásra harcunkról. (Nem belső információcserére gondolok, hanem álláspontjaink nyilvánosság elé terjesztésére, hogy az emberek lássák, amit a mainstream média elhallgat előlük.) Nekünk kifejezésre kell juttatnunk az emberek túlnyomó többségének békeakaratát, és láttatni kell velük, hogy a semlegességben nemcsak mi vagyunk érdekeltek, hanem mások is, s hogy miért.
- A civil diplomáciára, melyet Magyarországon folytatunk. Mi jó kapcsolatban állunk különböző budapesti nagykövetségekkel, köztük az orosszal és a Szentszék Apostoli Nunciatúrájával. (Kialakult kapcsolatunk alapján okunk van föltételezni, szerepünk volt abban, hogy Ferenc pápa felülvizsgálta Oroszországot elítélő álláspontját, és kezdi világosan látni, hogy a béke útjában álló legfőbb akadály az amerikai birodalmi politika, mely tagadja Oroszország jogát a biztonsághoz. Ferenc pápa legutóbbi magyarországi látogatásakor teljes volt az egyetértés ebben a kérdésben Orbán Viktor miniszterelnökkel.)
- Összehoztuk a magyarországi történelmi egyházak képviselőit egy olyan fórumra, amelynek célja a békés együttélés és együttműködés volt a különböző felekezetű hívők között, és a nemhívőkkel.
- Mi szeretnénk Önökkel együtt civil diplomáciát folytatni Ausztria és Magyarország semlegességéért Budapesten és Bécsben! Nyomást gyakorolni kormányainkra Ausztria budapesti, és Magyarország bécsi nagykövetén keresztül.
- Népszerűsíteni szeretnénk az önök semlegességi törekvéseit Magyarországon. Ezt a célt szolgálja Wilhelm Langthaler elnök úr június 2-i budapesti részvétele Fórum összejövetelünkön.
- Készen állunk arra, hogy segítsünk osztrák partnereinknek részvételünkkel béketüntetésen, konferencián.
- Az oroszok 2021. december 15-én megfogalmazott biztonsági követelései, és az ukrajnai különleges katonai művelet céljai, nevezetesen a nácitlanítás, a demilitarizálás és a semlegesítés célja alapján arra következtetek, hogy Európában, elsősorban Kelet és Közép-Európában erősödni fog a semlegesség iránti igény. Úgy vélem, önökkel együtt felerősíthetjük ezt a folyamatot kiszélesítve összefogásunkat a semlegességért más országok hasonló mozgalmaival.
Tisztelt Harcostársak!
Nemzetközi helyzetértékelésünk szerint az ukrajnai konfliktusnak akkor lesz vége, amikor Kijev leteszi a fegyvert, és elfogadja Ukrajna demilitarizálását és semlegességét. A NATO és vezető hatalma mindent elkövet ennek megakadályozásáért. Tudják, hogy ha nem győznek Ukrajnában, a NATO maga szenved vereséget, benne vezető hatalmával, az Egyesült Államokkal. A Nyugat tisztában van azzal, hogy nemcsak világ fölötti hegemóniáját veszélyeztetné egy ilyen fordulat, hanem társadalmi-hatalmi rendszere is meginogna. Szeretné megnyerni ezt a háborút Oroszország ellen. Célul tűzte ki Oroszország stratégiai legyőzését. Nekünk az a véleményünk, hogy ez hiú remény. Oroszország valóra fogja váltani céljait, és nem fogja megengedni, hogy területén még egyszer honvédő háborút kelljen vívni az után, miután a II. világháborúban elvesztett 20 millió embert. A Magyar Békekör tisztelettel adózik a szovjet hősöknek, akik megszabadították a világot a náci-fasizmustól, és lehetővé tették Európa szabad fejlődését. Meggyőződésünk szerint Oroszország nem agressziót követett el Ukrajna ellen, hanem megelőzte a NATO agresszióját Oroszország ellen.
Oroszország sokáig hitte, hogy békés úton is meg lehet teremteni a kooperatív rendet, míg be nem látta, hogy a birodalom magától nem enged, nem mond le lényegéről, terjeszkedéséről, mások alávetéséről. Hiszen hatalma ebből fakad. Sőt a birodalom még azt is a fejébe vette, hogy Oroszországot is elnyeli. Moszkvának rá kellett döbbennie, hogy ha ezt tovább tűri, nemcsak világmegváltó céljait kockáztatja, hanem Oroszország létét is. A kijevi rezsim donbászi vérengzése, 13 ezer orosz lemészárlása 2014-2022 között a Nyugat cinkos hallgatása közepette, az Ukrajnában üzemeltetett amerikai biológiai fegyver laboratóriumok, a NATO katonai felvonulása az orosz határok mentén, a szűnni nem akaró katonai provokációk és zaklatás, Zelenszkij terve az Oroszországra mérendő előzetes csapásról, Ukrajna kilépése az atomfegyver mentességet deklaráló budapesti memorandumból mind-mind arra utalt, hogy ha az oroszok nem vigyáznak, újabb honvédő háborúra kényszerülhetnek az újnácikkal szemben.
Mi nem a háborút támogatjuk, hanem Oroszország jogos biztonsági követeléseinek kielégítését. A békés megoldás kulcsát abban látjuk, hogy a NATO is elismerje az orosz követelések jogosságát, és leüljön komolyan tárgyalni a kölcsönös biztonságról. Amíg a NATO ezt nem teszi meg, orosz részről sem fogják szavatolni a Nyugat biztonságát. A biztonság egy és oszthatatlan. Senki sem érvényesítheti saját biztonságát más országok kárára. Ez a kiindulópontja egy új európai biztonsági és együttműködési rendszer kialakításának. Míg eljutunk ide, addig a fegyvereké lesz a szó. Nekünk semmi kétségünk sincs a felől, hogy Oroszország megnyeri ezt a háborút. Ukrajna egyszersmind katalizátora egy világméretű átalakulásnak is, melynek célja az egypólusú amerikai birodalmi világrend felváltása sokpólusú világrenddel, a konfrontáció felváltása egy egyenjogú, kölcsönös érdekeken alapuló békés együttműködési nemzetközi kapcsolatrendszerrel.
Óriási változások mennek végbe a világon. Új világpólusok születnek. A BRICS, Sanghaji Együttműködési Szervezet, az Eurázsiai Gazdasági Unió, hozzájuk tartozó új bankokkal, nemzeti valutában történő elszámolási mechanizmusokkal. Olyan országok kérik felvételüket, amelyek mindeddig az amerikai érdekszférához tartoztak. Mint Argentína, az Arab Emirátusok Szövetsége, Egyiptom, Szaúd-Arábia, Törökország. A világ kezd megszabadulni a dollár mindenhatóságától.
Miközben a Nyugat szankciók sokaságával próbálja feltartóztatni a nemzetközi átrendeződést, Keleten intenzív együttműködés bontakozik ki kínai-orosz-indiai epicentrummal. Minél gyorsabban kiépítik az ázsiai országok energiaellátási, szállítási infrastruktúrájukat, és pénzügyi kapcsolataikat, annál gyorsabban fog megvalósulni az a kelet-nyugati kiegyezés, amely az ukrajnai orosz különleges katonai művelet fő célja.
Tudnunk kell, hogy a népekre és az egyénekre semmi sem gyakorol nagyobb vonzerőt, mint a fejlődés szabadságban. A társadalmi felemelkedés, az egyéni emancipáció lehetősége! Aki képes megteremteni ennek anyagi és erkölcsi feltételeit, azt olyanok is követni fogják, akik eddig abban a meggyőződésben éltek, hogy a nyugati társadalmi modellnél nincs jobb. De a jövőbe tekintve azt is tudnunk kell, hogy Keletnek és Nyugatnak meg kell osztania egymással értékeit, nyitottnak kell lennünk egymás értékeinek befogadására, mert az emberiség így lelhet közös nevezőre.
Az emberiség nagy többsége meg akar szabadulni az amerikai fennhatóságtól, és szabadon akar fejlődni. Olyan partnerek után néz, akik tiszteletben tartják önálló, szabad fejlődéshez fűződő érdekeit, és egyenjogú félként kezelik.
Meggyőződésem szerint Magyarországnak jó viszonyban kell élnie Kelettel és Nyugattal egyaránt. Ahhoz, hogy az álom valóra váljék, nélkülözhetetlennek tartom, hogy a katonai erő a békés együttműködés rendjének megteremtését szolgálja.
Logikusnak tartjuk, hogy a gyarmatosításhoz és a neokolonializmushoz szokott nyugati nagyhatalmak, melyek jólétüket mások leigázásának köszönhetik, mindent elkövetnek, hogy ne szülessék meg egy ilyen új világ.
Mi úgy gondoljuk, nekünk, civil társadalomnak és haladó erőknek az a dolgunk, hogy elősegítsük ennek az új világrendnek a létrejöttét idehaza és összefogással nemzetközi méretekben.
Természetesen nemcsak azért jöttem Bécsbe, hogy ezt elmondjam önöknek, hanem meg is hallgassam, mit javasolnak Önök, kedves Barátaim.

Hungarian-Austrian Forum for Peace and Neutrality in Vienna

A social forum was held in Vienna on Friday evening to defend the neutrality of Austria and to claim the neutrality of Hungary, the Hungarian Community for Peace announced on Sunday.
The meeting was organized by the Austrian Social Coalition for Peace and Neutrality with the aim of joining forces with the Hungarian Peace Community and the Hungarian Forum for Peace movement for the peace of the Austrian and Hungarian people and for neutrality in face of the conflict in Ukraine.
Wilhelm Langthaler, the leader of the Austrian coalition, proposed joint actions against those who want Austria to give up its constitutional neutrality and side with those who want to go to war with Russia.
As an invited speaker at the forum, Endre Simó, president of the Peace Community of Hungary, considered it to be in the common interest of the two countries that Hungary should not allow itself to be dragged into war, pursue an active policy of neutrality, and together with Austria refrain from adding fuel to the fire.
"We expect that the demand for neutrality in Europe, primarily in Eastern and Central Europe, will increase to the same extent that the Russians achieve their triple goal of de-Nazification, demilitarization and neutrality of Ukraine," he said.
Simó agreed with the organization of joint actions for the sake of peace. Both sides called it important to broaden cooperation with similar peace movements in other Central and Eastern European countries.
The Austrian audience participating in the forum saw the possibility of a peaceful solution to the conflict revealed in neutrality. Some suggested a Swiss-Austrian-Hungarian-Balkan neutrality alliance for it. It was considered important for the peace movement to confront the business world with its interests against sanctions. One commenter drew attention to the fact that weapons are being shipped to Ukraine through neutral Austria, and the government in Vienna is allowing it.
Even though Austria is neutral, if, as a member of the European Union, it subjects itself to an alliance that arms Kiev, it will actively participate in the conflict on the side of Ukraine, against Russia, they said. One speaker expressed the opinion that it would be a disaster for Europe if Russia could not achieve its triple objective in the framework of the special military operation in Ukraine. The United States is ready to sacrifice Europe against Russia to protect the interests of the background power, it was said.
In his response to what was said, the president of the Hungarian Peace Community expressed his joy for the unity for peace and neutrality included in the joint statement on February 24. We will experience many developments and surprises in the coming times, which may lead to profound social changes in the life of Europe. We have to prepare for this with all our knowledge, he said.
Since we clearly want a world order of peaceful cooperation instead of the current world of confrontation, we must be able to meet the new requirements of the multipolar international world order to play a role in managing the life of our countries in accordance with our people's desire for peace. Magyar-osztrák fórum a békéért és a semlegességért

Bécsben péntek este társadalmi fórumot tartottak Ausztria semlegességének megvédéséért és Magyarország semlegességének kivívásáért – tudatta a Magyar Békekör vasárnap.
A tanácskozást az osztrák Társadalmi Koalíció a Békéért és a Semlegességért tömörülés szervezte azzal a céllal, hogy összefogjon a Magyar Békekörrel és a Magyar Fórum a Békéért mozgalommal az osztrák és a magyar nép békéjéért, az ukrajnai konfliktussal szembeni semlegességért.
Wilhelm Langthaler, az osztrák koalíció vezetője közös fellépést, akciókat javasolt azokkal szemben, akik azt akarják, hogy Ausztria feladja alkotmányban rögzített semlegességét, és azok mellé szegődjön, akik háborúzni akarnak Oroszországgal.
A fórum meghívott előadójaként Simó Endre, a Békekör elnöke a két ország közös érdekének tartotta, hogy Magyarország ne engedje háborúba sodorni magát, aktív semlegességi politikát folytasson, s Ausztriával együtt tartózkodjon attól, hogy olajat öntsön a tűzre.
„Mi arra számítunk, hogy Európában, elsősorban Kelet és Közép-Európában annak mértékében fog erősödni a semlegesség iránti igény, amilyen mértékben az oroszok érvényt szereznek hármas céljuknak, Ukrajna nácitlanításának, demilitarizálásának és semlegességének” – mondta.
Simó egyetértett a béke érdekében történő közös fellépéssel, akciók szervezésével. Mindkét fél fontosnak nevezte az összefogás kiszélesítését más közép- és kelet-európai országok hasonló békemozgalmaival.
A fórumon résztvevő osztrák hallgatóság a semlegességben látta feltárulni a békés megoldás lehetőségét. Egyesek svájci-osztrák-magyar-balkáni semlegességi összefogást javasoltak érte. Fontosnak tartották, hogy a békemozgalom szembesítse az üzleti világot a szankciókkal szembenálló érdekeivel. Az egyik hozzászóló felhívta a figyelmet arra, hogy a semleges Ausztrián keresztül fegyvert szállítanak Ukrajnának, a bécsi kormány pedig engedi. Hiába semleges Ausztria, ha az Európai Unió tagjaként olyan szövetségnek veti magát alá, amely fegyverzi Kijevet, aktívan részt vesz a konfliktusban Ukrajna oldalán, Oroszország ellen – mondták. Egy felszólaló annak a véleményének adott hangot, hogy katasztrófa volna Európára nézve, ha Oroszország nem tudná elérni hármas célját az ukrajnai különleges katonai művelet keretében. Az Egyesült Államok kész feláldozni Európát Oroszország ellen, hogy megvédje a háttérhatalom érdekeit – hangzott el.
Az elhangzottakra adott válaszában a Magyar Békekör elnöke örömét fejezte ki a február 24-én közös nyilatkozatba foglalt összefogásért a békéért és a semlegességért. Sok olyan fejleményben, meglepetésben lesz még részünk a következő időkben, amelyek mélyreható társadalmi változásokhoz vezethetnek Európa életében. Nekünk erre minden tudásunkkal fel kell készülnünk – mondta. Mivel egyértelműen a békés együttműködés világrendjét akarjuk a szembenállás jelenlegi világa helyett, tudnunk kell megfelelni a sokpólusú nemzetközi világrend támasztotta új követelményeknek, hogy népeink békevágyának megfelelően szerepet vállaljunk országaink életének irányításában. Egy olyan politikai-társadalmi rendszer létrehozásában, amelynek semmilyen érdeke sem fűződik többé a háborúzáshoz.
A bécsi békefórumot június 2-án budapesti követi, melynek meghívott előadója Wilhelm Langthaler, az osztrák Társadalmi Koalíció a Békéért és a Semlegességért tömörülés vezetője lesz.+++
